About Jessica Barnes, PhD

Jessica Barnes, PhD, is the CEO and co-founder of 20Lighter, a groundbreaking scientifically based obesity and cardiometabolic intervention. She earned her PhD in molecular neuroscience from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She was a fellow in the Department of Pediatric Neuro-oncology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Children’s Hospital Boston under the mentorship of Judah Folkman, MD, the father of angiogenesis. With a background in clinical research, biotech/healthcare investment banking and venture capital, she has a passion for health and helping individuals and businesses be their best.
