    Description

This webinar — recorded on July 17, 2025 — is eligible for ACMPE and CEU credit.

Are you struggling to attract and keep talented physicians and advanced practice providers in today's demanding healthcare environment? While compensation and benefits are crucial, a deeper, often unspoken factor significantly influences a clinician's career decisions: their sense of purpose. This webinar addresses a critical area of concern for medical practices – the ongoing challenge of recruitment and the costly impact of turnover.

Based on exclusive new research from Jackson Physician Search and LocumTenens.com, this session goes beyond surface-level incentives to explore the enduring "calling" that drives physicians and APPs. We'll uncover how clinicians define meaning in their work, whether this sentiment persists throughout their careers, and what factors – such as medical specialty – can influence their sense of purpose and overall job satisfaction.

This 60-minute webinar will provide you with the knowledge to:

    • Analyze new research findings on how physicians and APPs define and sustain a sense of purpose throughout their careers, including how factors like specialty and gender influence job satisfaction
    • Apply purpose-driven language and strategies to recruitment materials, interviews, and onboarding processes to attract candidates who align with your organization’s mission and values
    • Integrate actionable approaches into your workplace culture to foster and sustain clinician engagement, reduce burnout, and improve retention
